Welcome to Traveltogether (the “App”). By creating an account, continuing as a guest, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Traveltogether helps you and the people you travel with record shared expenses and settle who owes whom. We provide the App “as is” and “as available.” Currency conversions and suggested settlements are estimates provided for convenience and may not be exact.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. You may use the App as a guest or by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the activity in your account and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Guest data is stored on your device; sign in to help recover it and use it across devices. You can delete your account and associated personal data from within the App at any time.
You keep ownership of the trip, expense, and receipt data you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data to operate the App for you and the trip members you share it with.
Do not misuse the App, attempt to access other users’ data, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service.
The App may show advertising, including personalized ads where you have consented and where permitted by law. You can change your advertising choices, and withdraw consent, at any time in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The App is a record-keeping tool. It does not move money, process payments, or provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for amounts settled between users based on the App’s estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [FILL IN: governing jurisdiction — counsel to select], and the courts of [FILL IN: chosen courts] will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
[FILL IN: dispute-resolution / arbitration terms — counsel to draft. Note: pre-dispute arbitration and class-action waivers generally cannot be imposed on consumers in the EEA and UK and must not apply to them.]
We may update these Terms. Material changes will require your renewed acceptance in the App (we track the version you accepted and when).
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law. Some information you contributed to shared trips may remain visible to other members after you leave, as described in the Privacy Policy.
